THE ROLLING STONES DEFY AGE WITH NEW ALBUM AND TOUR

The Rolling Stones are showing no signs of slowing down, even as they hit their 80s. The legendary rock band has announced a 16-city North American tour in support of their new album, “Hackney Diamonds,” their first studio album in 18 years.

The tour will kick off in Houston on April 28 and will wrap up in Santa Clara on July 17. The Stones will be performing a mix of classics and new songs from “Hackney Diamonds,” which features megastar cameos from Elton John, Lady Gaga, and Paul McCartney.

The album has been met with largely positive reviews, with many critics praising the band’s energy and vitality. The Telegraph called it “crisp and thrilling,” while Uncut said the band had “come out fighting” since the death of drummer Charlie Watts in 2021.

Some critics were less impressed, with Pitchfork describing the album as “a bunch of hackneyed duds, polished until the character has disappeared.” However, the overall consensus is that “Hackney Diamonds” is a solid return to form for the Rolling Stones.

The band remains hugely popular around the world, and “Hackney Diamonds” topped the charts in a dozen countries. The Rolling Stones’ North American tour is sure to be a must-see for fans of the band, and it is a testament to their enduring legacy that they are still able to rock out after all these years.
