Over 160,000 passengers are set to benefit from the Taguig City Integrated Terminal Exchange (TCITX), which is expected to open in 2028.
The Department of Transportation (DOTr) recently held the groundbreaking ceremony for the terminal, marking a significant step after a seven-year delay due to the pandemic and right-of-way issues.
The P5.2-billion terminal, awarded to Ayala Land Inc. (ALI), will accommodate 160,000 motorists and 5,200 vehicles daily.
The TCITX will feature connections to the North-South Commuter Railway and Metro Manila Subway, aiming to decongest major roads and improve the commuter experience.
ALI’s president, Anna Maria Margarita Dy, highlighted the terminal’s role as a gateway from the south of Metro Manila.
