Calabarzon continued to shine at the Palarong Pambansa in Cebu City, securing five additional gold medals in swimming on Sunday, maintaining their second position overall behind NCR.
Albert Jose Amaro II led the charge with three golds, dominating events like the 50m and 200m freestyle, and contributing to the 4x100m freestyle relay victory.
Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh and Peter Cyrus Dean also contributed with individual golds, Mojdeh excelling in the 400m Individual Medley and Dean in the 400m IM.
With these victories, Calabarzon’s medal tally stands strong at 42 golds, 32 silvers, and 36 bronzes as of the latest update.
