A recent OCTA Research survey revealed a significant drop in the Senate’s trust and performance ratings in Q2 2025, while the House of Representatives saw notable improvements.
The Senate’s trust rating fell by 8 points to 49%, with the sharpest declines in Mindanao and Visayas, and its performance rating also dropped by 6 points to 47%.
In contrast, the House’s trust rating rose to 57% and its performance rating to 55%, with gains largely coming from Balance Luzon and Mindanao.
Speaker Martin Romualdez welcomed the results, saying they reflect Congress’s efforts to address public concerns.
The survey, conducted July 12–17 with 1,200 respondents, had a ±3% margin of error.
