SSS LEADERSHIP CHANGES: DE CLARO ASSUMES TOP ROLE

The Social Security System (SSS) has appointed Commissioner Robert Joseph De Claro as its new Officer-in-Charge, effective October 11, following the resignation of Rolando Ledesma Macasaet.

De Claro, who joined the Social Security Commission in January 2023 representing the Employers’ Group, brings over 32 years of experience in the public and private sectors.

He previously chaired key committees on information technology, collection, audit, and risk management within the SSS.

De Claro’s background includes executive roles at UnionBank and multinational company Nestlé Philippines.

His leadership is expected to strengthen the SSS’s efforts to provide comprehensive social security protection to Filipinos.
