Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 16) — From one project to another, singer-songwriter James Reid shared what fans can expect from him for the rest of the year.
“There’s a lot coming up in terms of collaborations,” Reid told CNN Philippines, noting that these projects will involve both local and international artists.
He shared that some of the collaborations he is working on is with a Singaporean artist, and another feature with a Korean artist.
Reid said he just returned from London after working on a campaign with Scotch whisky brand Johnnie Walker called “Walk Beyond In The Metaverse.”
The virtual concert was also in partnership with clothing brand Hypebeast, he added.
Also part of the campaign with Johnnie Walker was a collaboration with the group Skatebomb Girls, Reid said.
The project, which will be launched on Saturday, features Reid and the girl group performing with this latest track “So Fire” while wearing roller skates.
Reid said the collaboration was just like how he imagined the music video for “So Fire” would be given the disco vibe of the song.
When asked if he will be returning to acting, the Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010 winner simply replied “maybe.”
Aside from himself, Reid said artists under his label Careless Entertainment will also be releasing music soon.
Also under his company is actress Liza Soberano whose first Hollywood feature film is expected to be out later this year, Reid added.
