Sen. Joel Villanueva highlighted the importance of the proposed Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) Act in empowering Filipinos to achieve their educational and career aspirations.
In his New Year’s message, Villanueva acknowledged ongoing challenges such as a 3.9% unemployment rate, inflation, and natural disasters but emphasized reforms like the Enterprise-Based Education and Training (EBET) Framework Act that address job-skills mismatches.
He expressed hope for the passage of ETEEAP to further uplift Filipinos amid these difficulties.
Villanueva called for peace, unity, and faith in 2025 to inspire collective progress.
“These reforms provide hope for a brighter future for every Filipino,” he added.
