Comedian and host Ryan Bang has been named one of South Korea’s Top 10 public figures positively impacting the country’s global image, ranking ninth in the 2025 Republic of Korea Country Image Survey.
The list, released by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, featured BTS at first, followed by Son Heung-min, Blackpink, and actor Lee Min-ho.
Bang expressed surprise and gratitude for being included alongside major K-pop and entertainment stars, saying it reflects his role in strengthening ties between South Korea and the Philippines.
He has been active in hosting cross-cultural events and promoting a positive image of both countries.
Bang also thanked Filipino supporters and pledged to continue fostering goodwill and cultural exchange.
