The highly anticipated reunion of the ’90s Original Pilipino Music (OPM) band Rivermaya has been confirmed for February 17, 2024.
Concert producer Live Nation Philippines announced that the original members Bamboo Manalac, Mark Escueta, Nathan Azarcon, and Rico Blanco will finally reunite on the SMDC Festival Grounds.
Live Nation Philippines expressed excitement about staging its first-ever OPM show with Bamboo, Mark, Nathan, and Rico, promising a historic reunion that fans won’t want to miss.
Ticket prices for the concert range from P14,750 to P2,550, and ticket sales will begin on November 17 through SM Tickets.
The news of the Rivermaya reunion concert delighted fans, especially after an online teaser was released featuring blurred images resembling the original band members.
Rivermaya, with Bamboo, Nathan, Mark, and Rico, along with Perf de Castro, rose to fame in 1994.
Perf left the band in 1995, followed by Bamboo in 1998 during their tour in America and Canada.
Rico took the reins and continued creating hit songs with the band until 2007. Rivermaya has remained active, with Nathan returning and Mark staying on.
