Young singer Rhaila Tomakin denied any involvement in the breakup between actress Kyline Alcantara and basketball player Kobe Paras, describing Kobe as just a good friend.
The two were linked after being spotted together in Bali last month, but Rhaila clarified the couple had already split before she met Kobe.
She expressed understanding of the public’s curiosity but stressed that she was simply in the same place at the same time and did not intend to interfere.
Rhaila also revealed that she and her family received death threats, which made her afraid to return to the Philippines.
Despite the controversy, Rhaila said she and Kobe remain friends and that the situation was blown out of proportion by social media.
