Wilcon Depot received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) for its outstanding support of the PRC’s blood donation program during a ceremony on July 31, 2024.
The recognition took place at the PRC Logistics and Multipurpose Center in Mandaluyong City, where Wilcon Depot’s Executive HR Manager, Emilio Obispo, accepted the award.
In 2023, the company contributed significantly to the PRC’s achievement of collecting 538,769 units of blood, which met nearly half of the nation’s blood requirements and helped 264,581 patients.
Wilcon Depot also hosted a successful mass bloodletting event and has provided ongoing financial support to the PRC.
The company remains committed to its corporate social responsibility and will continue to support the PRC’s life-saving efforts.
