PRICE OF COOKING GAS RISES BY P4.95 PER 11-KILO TANK

Local oil companies have announced an increase of P0.45 per kilogram in the price of cooking gas, which translates to a P4.95 increase per 11-kilo tank. Consumers will need to tighten their spending this month due to this price adjustment.

Effective November 1, Petron Corp. and Solane-branded LPG both increased their prices by the same amount. AutoLPG, on the other hand, did not have any price adjustment.

According to Petron, this increase reflects the international contract price of LPG for November. This is the fourth consecutive month that local oil firms have implemented price increases for LPG.

In October, the price of an 11-kilo cylinder rose by P41.25. Data from the Department of Energy shows that the prevailing retail prices of cooking gas in Metro Manila ranged from P882 to P1054 per tank.
