President Marcos reaffirmed his commitment to supporting law enforcement and the Filipino people in maintaining peace, emphasizing the importance of fully backing law enforcement officers and soldiers.
He made these remarks during a campaign rally for senatorial candidates in Antipolo City, where he also launched the “Trabaho at Serbisyong Pangkalusugan sa Bagong Pilipinas” program.
The program aims to provide employment and health services to vulnerable sectors, including those from the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).
At the event, a job fair targeted 2,000 individuals, many of whom are 4Ps beneficiaries, while a one-stop-shop of government agencies assisted job seekers.
Marcos also highlighted the success of government-led job fairs, with over 160,000 jobseekers employed since July 2022 and 351 hired through this year’s job fairs.
