The Philippine National Police (PNP) has instructed its officers to remain vigilant and prepared for emergencies during the upcoming New Year celebrations.
PNP Chief Gen. Rommel Marbil emphasized the importance of readiness in handling incidents such as fires, and accidents, and providing first aid.
He directed all police mobile units to be equipped with fire safety devices and first aid kits to ensure immediate assistance when needed.
Marbil also urged the public to report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.
This initiative aims to ensure public safety and order during the heightened activities of the holiday season.
