PILANDOK MAY REENTER PAR AMID MONSOON RAINS

Tropical Storm Krovanh, formerly known as Pilandok, is expected to re-enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) by tomorrow morning or early afternoon, according to PAGASA.

The storm is forecast to remain a tropical storm before exiting PAR by Monday and weakening into a tropical depression on Tuesday.

While a direct landfall is unlikely, it may enhance the southwest monsoon and bring rains to parts of Luzon and the Visayas.

Metro Manila and several provinces may experience occasional rains, while scattered rains and thunderstorms are expected in other areas.

Mindanao will generally have partly to mostly cloudy skies, with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
