The Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO) will embark on a nine-city UK tour this May, led by Maestro Grzegorz Nowak.
The tour, following the PPO’s 40th concert season, will feature soloists including Wen-Sinn Yang, Diomedes Saraza Jr., Mark Bebbington, and Jeffrey Ching.
Among the pieces performed will be Mendelssohn’s “Symphony No. 4 Italian,” Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake Suite,” and Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 5.”
The tour aims to showcase Filipino artistry globally and connect with the Filipino community in the UK.
The tour will begin on May 13 and run through May 24, with performances in major cities including London, Birmingham, and Manchester, concluding at the Perth Festival of the Arts in Scotland.
