The Philippine consulate general in Hong Kong urged foreign-owned digital technology and electronic startups to establish operations in the Philippines during the Hong Kong Electronics Fair 2024, held from October 13 to 16.
As part of the “Make It Happen” initiative, the consulate highlighted the country’s over 400 world-class economic zones (ecozones) managed by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), which offer opportunities and incentives for foreign businesses.
The consulate’s booth featured informational materials about investment possibilities in these ecozones, including the Philippine Veterans Investment Development Corp.’s Industrial Estate in Misamis Oriental, which encourages clean industries.
Additionally, the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority promoted its holistic investor experience, combining work and leisure near Clark International Airport.
The event attracted over 60,000 buyers and showcased innovative products from more than 3,000 exhibitors, including Euro CB Philippines, which displayed its hands-free kits for skiing and biking.
