The Perpetual Help Community Cooperative, Inc. (PHCCI) has earmarked ₱9 million for community development projects in Negros Oriental, in line with the Cooperative Code of 2008.
In January, PHCCI distributed ₱2 million in relief goods to over 3,000 residents displaced by the Mt. Kanlaon eruption.
Upcoming projects include traffic light installation, church ceiling fans, and solar power initiatives across the province.
Chief Marketing Officer Rex Rastica said PHCCI is also utilizing excess funds from previous years for additional community partnerships.
The cooperative’s ₱300 billion net surplus in 2024 ensures continued investment in social programs.
