The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) recorded an 84.46% conviction rate in resolved drug-related cases from July 2022 to June 2026, with 67,330 cases resulting in convictions.
PDEA Director General Isagani Nerez said 79,717 of the 193,901 cases recorded during the period were resolved, while others were acquitted, dismissed, or remained pending.
The conviction rate was higher than the 78.07% recorded during the first four years of the Duterte administration.
Nerez attributed the results to thorough case preparation, proper handling of evidence, and the participation of PDEA personnel in court proceedings.
He said the agency continues to strengthen its prosecution efforts through training programs, mock court sessions, and case-monitoring systems.
