The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency awarded nearly P9.6 million in cash incentives to 18 civilian informants whose tips led to 23 major anti-drug operations.
The operations resulted in the dismantling of drug networks, the seizure of illegal drugs, and the arrest of several high-value suspects.
PDEA described the informants as “silent heroes” whose information strengthened the government’s anti-drug campaign.
The agency said the rewards were granted under its Operation Private Eye program after a review process.
PDEA also urged the public to continue reporting illegal drug activities to help combat the drug trade.
