President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will meet Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet on February 11 to discuss strengthening bilateral ties between the Philippines and Cambodia.
This follows Hun Manet’s official visit to the Philippines on February 10-11, 2025.
The two leaders are expected to focus on cooperation in areas such as defense, trade, tourism, transnational crimes, and regional issues.
Additionally, the Philippines and Cambodia are set to sign a double taxation agreement (DTA) in February, which aims to reduce barriers to trade and investment between the two nations.
The Philippines and Cambodia have had a cordial relationship since the resumption of diplomatic ties in 1995.
