President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. expressed his desire for a stronger Philippine Air Force during a command conference with military leaders at the PAF headquarters in Villamor Air Base.
The conference focused on recent activities, plans, and proposed projects of the Air Force, aiming to enhance its capabilities as the country’s primary defense against threats and improve efficiency in disaster response.
While meeting details were not disclosed, Marcos provided guidance and instructions on proposed programs.
The PAF, led by Lt. Gen. Stephen Parreño, also briefed Marcos and senior officials on recent activities and plans, expressing their anticipation of continuous support for their modernization efforts.
