Parañaque City has earned two prestigious national honors for excellence in fiscal management and governance, highlighting its commitment to integrity and innovation.
The city’s Accounting Office was inducted into the Hall of Fame by the Association of Government Accountants of the Philippines after winning the Outstanding Accounting Office award for three straight years.
The accolade recognizes Parañaque’s accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to financial regulations.
On the same day, the Department of the Interior and Local Government–NCR also awarded Parañaque the 2025 Metro Manila SubayBAYANI Grand Award for its exemplary Women Wellness and Crisis Center.
Mayor Edwin Olivarez said the twin awards affirm the city’s dedication to transparent, people-centered governance.
