The government will honor the sacrifices of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) with a concert at the Kalayaan Grounds in Malacañang, called “Konsyerto sa Palasyo.”
The event, organized by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), aims to celebrate the contributions of OFWs and their families to the country’s economic growth.
The concert will highlight the inspiring stories of OFWs’ triumphs and challenges while fostering national pride.
DMW Secretary Hans Cacdac emphasized that OFWs and their families are vital to the nation’s strength and that the government remains committed to supporting them.
“Konsyerto sa Palasyo” is the sixth event in a series designed to honor various sectors, such as soldiers, teachers, healthcare workers, and athletes, for their dedication to nation-building.
