Philippine Air Force (PAF) Reserve Brig. Gen. Michael Odylon “Mikee” Romero said his confirmation by the Commission on Appointments (CA) comes with greater responsibility.
Romero said he would use his experience to help build a more prepared, modern, and resilient Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
The CA on Thursday confirmed the appointments and promotions of AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Antonio Nafarrete, Romero, and 36 other senior and flag officers.
Nafarrete, who assumed the AFP’s top post on July 21, was confirmed to the four-star rank of general.
Romero has also led the Association of Reservists and Reservist Administrators of the Philippines in efforts to strengthen the country’s reserve force.
