President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. congratulated Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for completing 25 years of public service, praising his leadership in governance, technology, and development.
Marcos said Modi’s leadership helped transform India and strengthen its role globally.
He also highlighted the growing strategic partnership between the Philippines and India, including cooperation on disaster resilience.
Marcos wished Modi continued success and said he looks forward to welcoming him to Manila for the ASEAN-India and East Asia Summits in November.
The two leaders last met during the BRICS Summit in New Delhi, where they discussed expanding cooperation in railways, space technology, AI, agriculture, trade, and innovation.
