Comedian Michael V appeared to heed netizens’ call to parody controversial DPWH contractor Sarah Discaya after teasing his new character on Bubble Gang.
In a Facebook video, he was shown in costume with his back to the camera, dropping emojis of money and a balance scale before revealing the show’s Sept. 14 airtime.
Co-star Paolo Contis later confirmed the impersonation by posting a selfie with Michael V fully dressed as Discaya, complete with her Senate hearing outfit, wig, mole, and even a blue umbrella referencing her Rolls-Royce remark.
The parody comes amid the ongoing Senate probe into the Discayas’ alleged involvement in anomalous multi-billion peso flood control contracts.
Netizens quickly reacted, praising Michael V’s comedic timing and uncanny resemblance to the embattled contractor.
