National University (NU) clinched victory in Game 2 of the UAAP Season 86 women’s volleyball tournament, sealing their redemption tour with a second crown in three years.
Despite the University of Santo Tomas (UST)’s fierce resistance, NU rallied back with stellar performances from Bella Belen and Alyssa Solomon, who earned the Finals MVP title.
Coach Norman Miguel praised his team’s unwavering character and determination to bounce back, distinguishing them from others.
The win marked a golden double for NU as their men’s team also secured victory earlier in the day. Despite UST’s valiant efforts, NU’s composure proved decisive in securing the championship.
