The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has introduced a more organized schedule for the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), spacing out the premiere nights of the eight official entries to avoid overlapping events.
Daily premieres are set from December 15 to 18 and 20 to 23 at 7 p.m., with December 19 reserved for the Parade of Stars, a motorcade featuring themed floats of all entries across Makati and Pasay.
MMDA Chairman Don Artes emphasized the coordination with producers and studios to maximize media coverage and improve cinema screenings for moviegoers.
Traffic advisories and alternate routes have been issued to manage congestion along the parade route, with enforcers and safety units deployed to ensure smooth operations.
The MMFF continues with a well-paced rhythm, culminating in the Gabi ng Parangal on December 27, highlighting improved planning, better coordination, and respect for studios, press, and audiences alike.
