The Michelin Guide has recognized 108 restaurants and eateries across the Philippines, highlighting the rise of a “new generation of chefs” shaping modern Filipino cuisine.
Michelin Guide international director Gwendal Poullennec praised young Filipino chefs for blending innovation with tradition, as well as the country’s signature warmth and hospitality.
The 2026 edition features one restaurant with two Michelin stars, eight with one star, one with a Green Star, 25 with Bib Gourmand honors, and 74 Michelin Selected establishments.
Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco lauded the recognition as a milestone in promoting gastronomy as a key pillar of Philippine tourism.
The partnership between the Department of Tourism and Michelin aims to elevate the country as a global destination for culinary and cultural excellence.
