Following the crowning of Sheynnis Palacios from Nicaragua as Miss Universe 2023, it has been announced that Mexico will serve as the host country for Miss Universe 2024.
Mexican businessman Raúl Rocha Cantú made the announcement during the Miss Universe 2023 coronation night in El Salvador.
This will be Mexico’s fifth time hosting the prestigious pageant, with previous editions held in 1978, 1989, 1993, and 2007.
Mexico has also produced three Miss Universe titleholders in the past: Lupita Jones (1991), Ximena Navarrete (2010), and Andrea Meza (2020).
