Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte has been selected as a regional winner and national semifinalist for the 2024 Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award, marking her second consecutive year receiving the honor.
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) recognized Belmonte for her exceptional contributions to public service, particularly her green and environmental initiatives.
Belmonte received the award on November 15 at the CSC-NCR office, expressing gratitude for the recognition, which she said would inspire continued excellence in governance.
The award celebrates civil servants whose work has a nationwide impact on public interest and security.
Other regional winners include Rachelle de la Cruz of the Philippine Children’s Medical Center and Marcela Navasera of UP Los Baños.
