Maricel Soriano, the country’s beloved Diamond Star, celebrated her 60th birthday in style with an extravagant party on April 8 at the New Frontier Theatre in Quezon City.
Dressed in a pink Inno Sotto pantsuit, Maricel, despite battling back pain from spinal arthritis, radiated joy as she celebrated with her closest friends and family from the entertainment industry.
The venue was transformed into a vibrant party space, featuring a central bar and round tables, with drinks flowing freely and special tributes, including one to the late Comedy King Dolphy.
Guests enjoyed a gourmet menu created by the late Margarita Fores, featuring exquisite canapés and a sit-down dinner, followed by a retro-themed atmosphere with ‘80s hits played by the band Route 70.
The evening was highlighted by emotional performances from Ice Seguerra and Gary Valenciano, leaving the birthday celebrant with beautiful memories of her special night.
