President Marcos will embark on a three-day State Visit to Cambodia from September 7 to 9, the first such visit in nearly nine years.
During the trip, he plans to address issues affecting around 7,500 Filipinos in Cambodia, including those related to scam hubs, undocumented work, and cross-border crimes.
The visit aims to strengthen trade, law enforcement cooperation, and Cambodia’s support for the Philippines’ upcoming ASEAN chairmanship in 2026.
Marcos is also expected to sign agreements on combating transnational crimes, higher education cooperation, and improved air services between the two countries.
The delegation will meet Filipino and Cambodian business leaders to promote increased trade, investment, and tourism between the nations.
