President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. thanked the Presidential Security Command (PSC) for its dedication to protecting the First Family and helping maintain national stability during its 128th anniversary celebration.
He said the PSC’s efforts allow him to perform his duties with confidence while safeguarding the institutions that uphold democracy.
Marcos also highlighted the government’s continued upgrades to the PSC’s capabilities and facilities to better respond to security threats.
First Lady Liza Marcos likewise expressed gratitude to the command for its service and commitment to the Filipino people.
The PSC, formerly known as the Presidential Security Group, was reorganized into its current form in 2023.
