The Manila Police District announced that several roads, including Blumentritt Road, Dimasalang and Maceda Streets, and Aurora Boulevard, will be closed from October 30 to November 3 for Undas.
The closures aim to manage heavy foot traffic near Manila North and South cemeteries during All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.
Around 1,000 police officers will be deployed to cemeteries across the city to maintain peace and order.
Authorities reminded the public not to bring firearms, alcohol, sound systems, and other prohibited items into cemeteries.
Parents are also advised to have children wear identification tags in case they get separated.
