Magnolia has made an impressive 3-0 start in the PBA Philippine Cup, but coach Chito Victolero is cautious about celebrating, emphasizing it’s still early in the season.
Victolero pointed out that the team’s improved performance is due to better health and defensive pressure, along with adjustments in the starting lineup and bench contributions.
Players like Zavier Lucero, Jerom Lastimosa, Paul Lee, and Calvin Abueva have been key in energizing the second unit, while veterans set an example for the team.
Victolero stressed that the team is motivated to end its 13-conference title drought and win the prestigious All-Filipino championship.
Magnolia’s next game is against Phoenix in Zamboanga City on Saturday.
