Gilas Pilipinas women’s team, led by rising star Kacey Dela Rosa, begins its FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup campaign in Singapore on Saturday.
Dela Rosa, who starred in the Philippines’ historic 74-59 win over Colombia in the FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifiers, will team up with Afril Bernardino, Cheska Apag, and Mikka Cacho.
The women’s squad opens against Tonga at 5:15 p.m., followed by a match versus Australia at 8:05 p.m.
Meanwhile, the men’s Gilas 3×3 team also advanced to the main draw after wins over Thailand and the Maldives in the qualifiers.
The men will compete in Pool A against Mongolia and Chinese Taipei.
