The ICC is now examining Sen. Ronald Dela Rosa and retired police chief Oscar Albayalde for their roles in the Duterte administration’s drug war, following the former president’s arrest.
The Palace confirmed that law enforcement agencies may assist if Interpol issues additional arrest warrants.
Dela Rosa, a key figure behind “Oplan Tokhang,” has remained silent and reportedly avoided public appearances since Duterte’s detention.
Albayalde, who continued the campaign until his resignation in 2019, also faces scrutiny over alleged police corruption.
Meanwhile, Dela Rosa has petitioned the Supreme Court to block ICC cooperation, arguing that any enforcement of its warrants in the Philippines is unconstitutional.
