The Philippine National Police (PNP) has intensified security measures nationwide to ensure public safety during the holiday season.
PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo announced that additional personnel would be deployed to crowded areas such as malls, transport hubs, and places of worship.
The heightened security aims to prevent criminal activities, including theft and other common holiday-related incidents.
Fajardo also urged the public to remain vigilant and cooperate with authorities by reporting suspicious activities.
