President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced that over 423,000 housing units have been built and financed since 2022 under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.
He pledged to fast-track home construction and improve access to affordable housing in the coming years.
The government had originally targeted one million houses per year, but revised it to 3.2 million due to procedural delays and natural disasters.
Marcos emphasized collaboration with the private sector to accelerate housing production and streamline processes.
During a turnover ceremony in Taytay, Rizal, beneficiaries in several provinces received symbolic keys and lot certificates for new homes.
