Government-owned and controlled corporation (GOCC) officials have until June 20 to submit their courtesy resignations in compliance with a directive from Malacañang.
The Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) said it would submit a report to the Office of the President identifying who complied and who did not.
While current GOCC appointees serve until June 30, those who stay beyond that date will be considered in a holdover capacity and may be replaced at any time.
The mass resignation call is part of President Marcos’ push for a “bold reset” in government leadership.
As of now, 357 officials from 78 GOCCs have submitted their resignations, with 117 GOCCs falling under the GCG’s oversight.
