Gilas jumped to an early lead, building a 27-point advantage in the second quarter, and held off a Guam rally led by Jericho Cruz in the third.
Despite the win, Scottie Thompson exited the game in the fourth quarter with a left ankle injury.
The Philippines will next face New Zealand on February 26, 2026, and Australia on March 1, 2026, in the second window of qualifiers.
