Presidential Adviser on Poverty Alleviation Lorenzo “Larry” Gadon accused lawyer Ferdinand Topacio of exploiting his popularity by filing a contempt petition against him for calling the Supreme Court a “lapdog” of the Dutertes.
Gadon criticized Topacio for making noise to attract clients, noting that many of his high-profile clients have ended up in jail.
He welcomed the petition, saying it would allow him to expose what he calls the Supreme Court’s hypocrisy, especially for not punishing Vice President Sara Duterte for her offenses.
Gadon also targeted Senior Associate Justice Marvic Leonen, accusing him of being anti-Marcos for delaying President Bongbong Marcos Jr.’s electoral protest and seeking revenge against Gadon.
He claimed the Supreme Court is biased in favor of the Dutertes and hostile to Marcos allies like himself.
