Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr. has strongly denied allegations made against him by former DPWH Undersecretary Roberto Bernardo during a Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing.
In a statement released by his legal team, Revilla called the claims “absolutely untrue” and expressed his willingness to cooperate with any official investigation.
He emphasized that it is not in his character to avoid scrutiny and that he supports public demands for accountability.
Revilla also warned against those who might use his name to obstruct justice, vowing to confront the allegations directly.
Bernardo had implicated Revilla, along with Senators Francis Escudero and Nancy Binay, in an alleged flood control project scam.
