Rep. Mauricio Domogan, though no longer banned from Camp John Hay Golf Club, has yet to return to playing, citing unresolved issues affecting club members’ rights.
The ban, imposed earlier this year following BCDA’s Supreme Court-backed takeover, prompted Domogan and others to file a class suit challenging the revocation of their memberships.
While granted access after the May 2025 elections, Domogan said he has no desire to play until the concerns of non-party members are addressed.
He also proposed that members be allowed to manage the club themselves, an idea acknowledged but not acted upon by the current interim management.
Domogan maintains that the previous ban was unjust, emphasizing their stake in the club and their continued fight for fairness and member security.
