More than 1,000 families in Iloilo, Laguna, and Quezon will receive Certificates of Entitlement (COEs) for residential land this December, marking a major step in the government’s socialized housing program.
The COEs cover land in Los Baños, Laguna; Lucena City, Quezon; and Jaro, Iloilo City, declared suitable for housing through Presidential Proclamations.
DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling said the awards aim to provide long-awaited land tenure security and make use of idle public lands.
The distribution will be done in batches from December 2025 to early 2026, following validation by local authorities to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Aliling assured that the DHSUD will continue coordinating with local governments to guarantee a smooth awarding process.
