Government workers will start receiving their 2025 mid-year bonuses beginning Thursday, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) announced.
The total budget allocated for the bonuses is ₱63.695 billion, with ₱47.587 billion for civilian personnel and ₱16.108 billion for military and uniformed personnel.
The funds were released to implementing agencies in January 2025, and the DBM urged government agencies and local government units to distribute the bonuses promptly.
Eligible recipients must have rendered at least four months of service between July 1 of the previous year and May 15 of the current year and received a satisfactory performance rating.
The bonus covers all government employees, including civilian, military, contractual, elective, and appointive personnel across various government branches and agencies.
