The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has reminded candidates for the upcoming 2025 elections to register their online campaign platforms before the December 15 deadline.
As of now, over 1,000 candidates have complied with the requirement to register websites, social media pages, and other online platforms used for campaigning.
The move aims to ensure transparency and accountability in digital election campaigning. Comelec reiterated that unregistered platforms will not be allowed for use in campaigning and may face penalties.
Candidates are urged to comply promptly to avoid disruptions in their campaign strategies.
