CLEVELAND CAVALIERS MITCHELL SECURES SERIES WIN WITH GAME 7 HEROICS AGAINST MAGIC

Donovan Mitchell led the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 106-94 victory over the Orlando Magic in Game 7 of their NBA playoffs first-round series, securing a meeting with the Eastern Conference top-seed Boston Celtics. 

Mitchell scored 39 points, supported by Caris LeVert’s 15 points off the bench and Max Strus’s 13 points. Despite a strong performance from Paolo Banchero, who scored 38 points for the Magic, the Cavaliers managed to overcome an 18-point deficit to clinch the series. 

The win marks Cleveland’s advancement to the second round, setting up a showdown with the Celtics. Mitchell emphasized the team’s readiness for the upcoming challenge, stating that they aim to accomplish more after achieving their first-round goal.
